Jan 20, 2024ST. MARYS - Two individuals sustained injuries after a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon when a tractor trailer crashed into a portion of Keystone Metal Powder Metal Company, located at 251 State Street, in St. Marys.
The City of St. Marys Police Department, Crystal Fire Department and St. Marys Area Ambulance Service all responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m.
Through preliminary investigation by the SMPD, it appears a 2024 Freightliner pulling a 2014 trailer, was traveling westbound on State Street. For unknown reasons, the Freightliner crossed into the eastbound lane and continued until it exited the roadway where it collided with the guard house, which was occupied at the time.
